ERP La Arboleda — Lumber yard and hardware store

A system for a lumber yard in Río Segundo that brings together what used to live at the counter, on paper, and in spreadsheets.

What was happening

The operation includes counter sales, customer accounts, stored materials, deliveries, and the paperwork that comes with them. The counter ran on a local POS. Suppliers, checks, accounting, and deliveries were split between paper and spreadsheets.

The owner looked at off-the-shelf systems. What one of them had, another was missing. None of them covered the whole operation, so she decided on a system of her own.

What we implemented

Sales and quotes from a phone. Quotes, counter sales, and charge accounts, including away from the shop.

Supplier price lists. The owner uploads the PDF or Excel file just as she receives it from the supplier. The system processes the list using AI and updates prices, avoiding manual file preparation and allowing her to do it from outside the business.

Purchasing and supplier accounts. Purchases and supplier accounts, with the source price at hand when a decision has to be made.

Accounts, checks, and stored materials. Customer accounts, returns, and stored materials: the customer buys now and picks up as the job moves forward, with the material balance visible. Checks are followed from collection and endorsement through each status.

Invoicing. Receipts integrated with ARCA, without entering the same sale in another program.

Deliveries and roles. Delivery routes built from the dispatch notes. Each person sees what their work needs: administration, sales, delivery, or accounting. Accounting is fed by the operation instead of being rebuilt aside.

What changed

Sales, collections, and administration work from the same information. The owner can check the operation without being physically at the business.
