ERP La Arboleda — Lumber yard and hardware store

Industry
Lumber yard and hardware store
Location
Río Segundo, Córdoba
Status
In production

No off-the-shelf system covered their entire operation. So we built theirs: POS, ARCA invoicing, +40,000 products, checks, accounting, and deliveries on a single platform.

A full ERP for a lumber yard that replaces an old local POS, paper, and spreadsheets with a cloud system built to the exact measure of their operation.

The problem

La Arboleda is a lumber yard and hardware store in Río Segundo (Córdoba) with a large operation: +40,000 products, counter sales, customer accounts, material hold for pickup, its own delivery, and all the administrative and accounting load that comes with it. Their infrastructure: an old POS that runs locally on one machine, and the rest — suppliers, checks, accounting, delivery — split between paper and Excel spreadsheets.

The owner did the right thing: she looked at systems on the market. She had several meetings with vendors of solutions for the industry, and she always ran into the same wall — what one had, the other was missing. None of them covered her full operation. That is when she decided to have a system built to the exact measure of her business.

The solution

A cloud ERP that centralizes everything that used to live scattered:

Sales and invoicing. Counter POS with fiscal invoicing integrated with ARCA (the Argentine tax authority) and printing of receipts, invoices, and delivery notes.

Inventory and suppliers. +40,000 products managed, purchases, and supplier current accounts.

Customers. Current accounts, returns, and material hold — the customer buys today and picks up as the job advances, with their material balance always clear.

Check management with a full lifecycle. Taking a check at the POS, endorsing it to suppliers, and tracking each check by status: in portfolio, deposited, cleared, expired, or voided. A huge pain of Argentine wholesale trade, solved end to end.

Accounting. Chart of accounts, books, journal entries, balance sheet, purchase and sales VAT, fiscal years — accounting stops being an island and is fed by the real operation.

Delivery and logistics. Vehicle management and creation of delivery routes from the delivery notes generated.

Multi-user with roles. Profiles with differentiated permissions — admin, moderator, salesperson, driver, accountant — for a team of 6, each seeing exactly what they need. Multi-tenant architecture ready to grow.

Scope

  • +40,000 products migrating from a local POS to a cloud system
  • 6 users with differentiated roles on the same platform
  • The full operation — sales, checks, accounting, delivery — leaving paper and spreadsheets
